Singapore Budget 2024 Bulletin (by BDO): What you need to know about the budget
On 16th February 2024, the Singapore Budget 2024 was presented in Parliament. The budget is themed “Building Our Shared Future Together”, and it allocates S$131.4 billion, around 18.3% of Singapore’s GDP, to achieve common goals of building a vibrant, inclusive, fair and thriving, as well as a resilient and united nation.
The budget includes measures to ensure a strong fiscal position for Singapore. Tax changes have been proposed to address concerns over high business costs and the rising cost of living.
